A little more about Lisa Van Zanten
I’ve grown up a lover of all things sweet.
Far from it being a cakewalk, I’ve worked and learnt my artistic craft in some of the best places, both here and in Europe. I held the title of pastry sous chef at the famous Claridges Hotel in Mayfair London. (There was some serious caking going on there.)
Over the journey, I mastered the art of cakes and I’m excited to share that with you.
I deliver my lovely indulgences (my little colourful babies) to birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, baby & bridal showers, elegant afternoon teas, as well as to extreme chocoholics and foodies.
Starting with well tested recipes, each cake is made entirely from scratch using fresh, natural ingredients. The simple but high-quality ingredients of butter, sugar, flour, eggs and cream turn into the most glorious cake layers and fillings. With well-balanced layers of flavours, nothing is overly sweet, and pure goodness sings through in each mouthful.
We have a boutique cake studio in Port Melbourne, Victoria specialising in decadently delicious cakes with elegant, handcrafted designs.
